Associate Professor of Microbial Biotechnology at the Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Research Institute (GEBRI), SRTA-City, Egypt, with more than two decades of experience in microbiome research, systems biology, and translational biotechnology. My research focuses on AI-driven precision health, gut microbiome science, multi-omics integration, nutrigenomics, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), precision oncology, and One Health approaches. I actively collaborate in international research initiatives and serve as an Academic Editor, Scientific Book Editor, and peer reviewer for leading international publishers and journals. My current interests include developing computational platforms that integrate microbiome science, artificial intelligence, and systems medicine to support predictive diagnostics, personalized interventions, and global health innovation.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Operating Room Nursing from the University of Sousse and built a strong foundation in clinical practice before pursuing advanced academic training in Health Sciences. She subsequently obtained a Master's Degree in Health Sciences and is currently completing her doctoral research in the same field, specializing in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions for surgical settings.
She is also a founder and CEO of TAIXOR, a StartUp for innovation in healthcare and surgery. She is also a teacher at the Higher Private Institute of Helath Sciences, teaching undergraduate students research methods, communication and nursing. She is actively engaged in promoting innovation in healthcare, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and technology developers, and contributing to the advancement of evidence-based AI in perioperative care.
