Dr Abir Romdhani is a doctoral researcher, healthcare innovator, and artificial intelligence enthusiast with more than seven years of clinical experience as an Operating Room Nurse. Her work lies at the intersection of surgical care, healthcare innovation, and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on optimizing operating room performance, enhancing surgical workflows, and advancing data-driven decision-making in perioperative environments.
She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Operating Room Nursing from the University of Sousse and built a strong foundation in clinical practice before pursuing advanced academic training in Health Sciences. She subsequently obtained a Master's Degree in Health Sciences and is currently completing her doctoral research in the same field, specializing in the development and implementation of artificial intelligence solutions for surgical settings.
She is also a founder and CEO of TAIXOR, a StartUp for innovation in healthcare and surgery. She is also a teacher at the Higher Private Institute of Helath Sciences, teaching undergraduate students research methods, communication and nursing. She is actively engaged in promoting innovation in healthcare, supporting interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians, researchers, and technology developers, and contributing to the advancement of evidence-based AI in perioperative care.
