Additional Details

As a dedicated academic with a deep passion for the pursuit of knowledge, I have committed nearly a decade to advancing my education and research. I earned both my Master’s and Ph.D. degrees from UKM and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), where my doctoral research focused on investigating the therapeutic effects of ellagic acid on tooth socket healing in rat models under diabetic and nicotinic conditions.

Following the completion of my Ph.D., I undertook a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Medical Microbiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. During this period, my research centered on the impact of viral infections on the integrity of the blood-brain barrier, contributing valuable insights to the field of neurovirology.

Subsequently, I joined Universiti Putra Malaysia (Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences) as a researcher in the Department of Medical Microbiology. There, I was involved in molecular characterization studies of Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae. I later served as a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry at a private institution in Iraq, while concurrently teaching as a contractual lecturer at the Middle Technical University, where I was committed to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Presently, I hold the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in the Sultanate of Oman.

Throughout my academic career, I have published several ISI-indexed journal articles, contributed to two book chapters, and presented my work at both national and international scientific conferences. My academic journey reflects a sustained commitment to excellence in research, education, and scholarly contribution.
