I am an accomplished academician and researcher with over 18 years of experience in the area of Biochemistry and Enzymology. I have held several academic and research leadership roles at University of Hail including Chairman of Biochemistry Department, Vice-Dean of Basic Medical Sciences, and Editor-in-chief for Hail Journal of Health Sciences.

I have published approximately 130 research articles, have authored/edited 30 book chapters and 17 books and also hold a patents for my research. I have a Google Scholar h-index of 41, Scopus h-index of 34, and over 22,000 citations. I am ranked as World’s Top 2% Scientist by Stanford University / Elsevier rankings for 2023, 2024, and 2025 and have also received the “Best Researcher Award” from University of Hail.

I am also the proud recipient of Young Scientist awards from International Foundation for Science (IFS), Sweden and Department of Science and Technology, Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), India.

My current research interests are Global Health, Disease Burden, Biocatalyst, Microbial Biotechnology, Value added products, and Nutritional Sciences.
