I am a distinguished researcher and academician with twenty years of experience and a prolific track record of high-impact publications. I have worked in cancer research for over 15 years and have led major preclinical and clinical studies across a large spectrum of cancers. I hold several large grants and have successfully laid the foundations of cancer research at Abu Dhabi University.

In my current role as Director of Abu Dhabi University Cancer Research Institute (ADU-CRI), I am responsible for leading high impact research in precision and personalized cancer medicine to improve and advance patients care and outcomes in the UAE and beyond. I am looking into mobilizing ADU faculty and our national/international networks to form global interdisciplinary research teams for high impact interdisciplinary cancer research.

I also aim to unite clinical expertise and cancer researchers for conducting research on key cancer priority areas as identified by healthcare regulatory bodies, support policy formulation for implementation of high impact translational research, and to enhance knowledge sharing and technology transfer on cancer research activities nationally and internationally.
