Dr. Kanu Megha is a scientist specializing in adverse neurobiological effects of RF-EMR and neurodegenerative diseases. She earned her Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry (Neuroscience) from University of Delhi, India and Postdoctoral research focussed on Alzheimer's disease and biomarker discovery from National Brain Research Centre, India. Her expertise, brings extensive research experience in molecular biology, immunology, and biochemistry, with a strong focus on neurodegenerative diseases and biomarker discovery.
Dr. Kanu Megha has published her reserach work in leading international journals including Neurotoxicology, Neurochemical Research, Current Brain Behavior, and the International Journal of Toxicology. She has been a recipient of the prestigious DST-INSPIRE Fellowship from the Government of India.
She is an active member of multiple professional scientific societies. Dr. Kanu Megha has guided several graduate, postgraduate, and medical students and has represented the scientific community as a speaker and expert panelist on several global platforms, including Allatra TV, the World Intellectual Forum, TransBrahm, and the Women Empowerment Forum.
She is currently serving as Lead Application Scientist at Leader Life Sciences, Dubai, UAE, and as an Industry Faculty (Adjunct) at Abu Dhabi University.
Blending academic and industry experience, Dr. Kanu Megha is passionate about bridging the gap between research innovation and real-world application. She has actively contributed to this vision through roles in both sectors — previously serving as a faculty member at Manipal University Dubai, MGM University (India), and currently as an Industry Faculty at Abu Dhabi University.
Her interdisciplinary background positions her as a strong advocate for academia–industry collaboration, STEM education, and capacity building in biomedical research and laboratory excellence.
