Shradha Menon
Researcher Manipal Academy of Higher Education, DubaiAdditional Details
I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a postgraduate double major in Molecular Biology and Human Genetics, focused on bridging the gap between curiosity research and clinical applications, particularly in neuroscience.
With a foundation in life sciences and a specialization in neurogenetics, my work includes a novel research project on the computational neurogenetics of Parkinson’s Disease. This research has been recognized with a Young Researcher Award and has led to invited speaking engagements at international conferences and academic forums.
I have had the privilege of presenting at major scientific platforms, often as one of the youngest and few non-PhD contributors, sharing insights on topics like AI in global health and personalized medicine. These experiences reflect my commitment to advancing scientific understanding and promoting inclusion and collaboration in research.
In addition to my research, I pursued public speaking, debate, and emceeing, involving broader topics such as sustainability and women empowerment. These experiences have enhanced my ability to communicate complex ideas and engage the public in scientific discourse.
I am committed to connecting research innovation with public understanding and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration. Open to opportunities for collaboration, research, and public engagement in science. Feel free to connect or reach out.
